ABMU Health Board has a requirement to let a contract for the provision of Asbestos Management Services, the Contract will provide for:

Year 1

Management Survey of all sites constructed before the year 2000, in accordance with HSG264 and the control of asbestos regulations 2012.

Provide a fully comprehensive asbestos register data base, (asbestos management software) that can be maintained and managed by the Health Board on its intranet.

Develop associated asbestos management plans for all sites

Checking labelling of identified ACM’s and apply where necessary;

Years 2 & 3

Re-Inspection Surveys of all sites with production of fully updated reports;

Update & Review of Asbestos Management Plans in place;

Checking labelling and re-applying where necessary;

Completion of Priority Assessments for all identified ACM’s throughout the portfolio.

2. Suitably qualified and experienced providers are invited to participate in the contract opportunity and submit proposals for meeting the Health Board’s requirement. The closing date and time for returning completed tenders is Thursday 22nd November at 15.00.
