Crynodeb
The Brecon Beacons National Park Visitor Centre has just celebrated its 50th Birthday, and has been a major attraction to both visitors and locals of the Brecon Beacons National Park during this time.
The visitor centre is located approximately 1.5 miles north of the village of Libanus, which lies 6 miles west of Brecon. The centres boasts one of the best views of Pen-y-fan, while its location on the edge of Mynydd Illtyd Common, allows easy access to the Twyn y Gaer hill fort site, which provides a panoramic view of the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains and beyond
The Brecon Beacons National Park Authority is inviting formal expressions of interest from parties who believe they have the necessary skills and experience to operate the cafe operation at the Visitor Centre. This will be by means of a 5 year license agreement and will commence at the latest on the 1st April 2017. Applicants are asked to provide detailed evidence of their ability to run and manage a catering operation of the size indicated by the information contained in the tender pack. Applicants are also asked to provide the value of the annual licence fee that they are willing to pay the Authority for receipt of the licence.
Interested parties are advised that the additional documents provided here on sell2wales constitute the full tender pack. A confidentiality form will need to be completed to obtain detailed information with regards the TUPE regulations that will be apply to the existing staff.
